TRIDENT

For funders and lenders

See every roof in the portfolio designed, before you fund it.

Rooftop solar on homes is small-ticket work, and qualifying it one roof at a time costs more than the deal can bear. Trident qualifies the whole list at once.

The hard part is qualifying the roofs

The capital exists and so does the demand. What holds small rooftop portfolios back is the work in between. Someone has to look at each roof, size a system, work out the grid route, check the structure and price the kit, usually across several firms, before anyone can say what the portfolio is worth. On a few hundred homes, that cost lands before the first panel goes up.

Upload the list. Get every home designed.

Send Trident a spreadsheet of UK addresses. Each home goes through the same design engine an installer uses to quote a single roof, and comes back as a result you can review.

Is the roof worth it?

Each roof face measured from aerial height data, chimneys and vents kept clear, faces that point away from the sun left off. Generation comes from the MCS tables, with expected, P90 and P99 figures and a 25-year projection allowing for panel ageing.

Can it connect?

G98 or G99 decided from each design's inverter, and the network operator pack drafted with its forms and single-line diagram. The pack is only marked ready once the MPAN, inverter, installer and customer are all in. Until then it names what's missing.

What will it cost?

A layout sized to the household's use, wind and snow loading checked against the fixings, and a kit list for every home. Load the installer's prices and Trident totals the approved homes, with no total while any line is blank.

Every home gets the same technical record, so a portfolio of three hundred reads the same way as a portfolio of three.

Every row accounted for

Before anything runs, Trident shows what the batch will cost and flags any columns that look like names, phone numbers or bank details. Afterwards every row of the file sits in one place: designed, can't be designed with the reason why, no roof data, or unreadable. The totals always add up to the file.

Your reviewer approves or rejects each design, and a rejection needs a reason. Only approved homes are priced. Trident also counts how many of its designs were approved without a change, so you can see how far to trust the rest of the batch.

Clear about where it stops

Trident qualifies and designs. A survey still confirms each roof: strength is assumed from the type of build until a surveyor checks it, and every report says what to look at on the day. Trident prepares the network operator's data and the installer submits it. The lending decision stays with you.
